I found a post that says clearing my Cache and Data of the app will cure my phone of the problem, however it is quite paradoxical and I would not like to lose my memories by deleting all files and I cannot back them up either because.you know. Either way, I am still stuck in the process and I would like to put an end to that.
Turning off notifications and restarting my phone temporarily rids of the notification of course, however whenever I reload my Google photos app or connect with wifi it reappears shortly. I tried to stop the upload by turning off back up and sync, yet that does not work either and still leaves me stuck in the uploading process.
Recently I have tried to upload a video of mine, however it's been stuck in the uploading stage for so long and just leaves me with an endless notification that reads 'Uploading 1 item', with the bar eternally moving.
